...And into 2010 season —GUEST BOOK—I publish ALL guests’ comments—I don’t edit or “cherry-pick” 18th April 1 night —Far too short! We’ll be back. Adrienne & Mike— New Zealand 18th April. Wonderful! Just what was needed after 3 days “on the wall”. Rooms, service, and food all super. Many, many thanks indeed, Bekah & Tom—Cambridge 15th April Enjoyed our 2 night stay while walking the wall. Great food, great service and the Bar is a good idea—saved us a walk to the pub! Nothing is too much trouble for Denise, and we’d recommend this B&B to others. Angela, Sandra, Marie and Maire— Paisley, Scotland. 8th April. We have enjoyed an extremely relaxing night here away from our children for the first time in 8 years! I really appreciated the thought that has gone into making our stay comfortable, easy and a “home from home” - with a little more luxury! Denise—you are a wonderful cook—delicious home-cooked food with the best ingredients, perfect portion sizes, and carefully considered menu. Thank you so much. Louise and Andrew—Kent. 6th April. Nothing too much trouble. 2nd January—everything was superb—the Shaw family (sorry I can’t include the boy;s pictures denise) 3oth Dec. 4 star B&B with a 5 star kitchen and a good selection of books. 2 days is unfortunately not enough to read them all! Out little daughter loved her dinner at the table! Brookside Villa is a wonderful place to stay. ~Tjeerd, Krusten & Nymke 29th December—A great rest point, wonderful food. Denise really looked after us, including our wee 6month old! Euan, Katy and Alasdair 25th November—Had a wonderful 2 night stay here—very relaxing and well looked after. Audry & Dafydd. 2nd November 2009– Walked here from Steel rigg yesterday in the wind and the rain to find an oasis of hospitality. Easily the best B&B on the trail. We saved the best til last. What a quiet way to start “Queen’s Day”. We escaped Amsterdam on the day Queen Beatrice celebrates her birthday.
