Housesteads

The most complete Roman Fort in Britain, Housesteads boasts some spectacular views. Located halfway along Hadrian’s Wall in Northumberland, there are magnificent ruins to explore – including granaries, barracks, a hospital and even a multi-seated latrine. There is also a museum, which shows how Housesteads once looked.
