We were a group of four walking the wall and Brookside was just what we needed to rest and recuperate. A fab b&b that is cosy and homely. The lounge area is lovely with a small bar and games, beds were comfy and the water hot, it was nice to have a sit down in a bath! BMost of all breakfast was amazing!! Definitely the best breakfast we had on the wall and with lots of options. We were really thankful for the yummy packed lunch on the 20 miler the next day. Thank you so much. - B
After a day on the trail the Brookside Villa was a wonderful respite.Welcoming hosts, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast.It was also great to sit in the garden. Would definitely stay here again. - Eric J
Warm, welcoming, super clean and well supplied for those hiking the Hadrian Wall Path. The outdoor garden area was as beautifully kept as the inside rooms. Very well maintained, artsy, and cozy B&B. Denise was so so helpful from offering drying racks for soggy boots to a nice wine and beer selection for relaxation time. Dinner and breakfast delicious! Clean and comfy andlikely the best lodging along Hadrian Wall Path.- Amy P
